Overview

At very first look, getting rid of the middle gentleman looks like a excellent thought and, for the Adsense for Domains, this could in fact profit the domain proprietor. Adsense for Domains or, to set it yet another way, Google domain parking, permits domain proprietors to park their domains with Google while also using edge of Google producing and publishing a web site that is filled with ads belonging to Google. The assumption is that the domain owner would come across this a worthwhile option to using other parking businesses. Probably so, but the domain owner does require to be vigilant, and conscious that Google would be contravening its individual Adsense policies unless of course, of course, Google both alter the wording of their TOS or they make Google domain parking exempt from the needs of Adsense TOS.

The dilemma is very likely to rear up when the domain operator decides the time is ripe to develop their website. As the situation stands at the instant, either the domain operator adheres to the meaning of Googles TOS, keeping on the appropriate facet of the search engines in the function that the domain owner had been to sometime produce their site, or the domain proprietor focuses specifically on click on-by means of prices and pays lip-services to Googles TOS. This latter determination may, at some long term date, go away the domain operator with egg on their faces! So, caveat emptor!

Activating Your CNAME Documents

When environment up your domain identify to be parked with Google you need to adjust the CNAME information as effectively as producing 4 A records. When you have accomplished this your Adsense for Domains or else known as Google Domain Parking – will have been activated. This may audio complex but then, every thing is right up until you know how! When you have activated your Google domain parking following the previously mentioned-mentioned measures, there is nothing at all else you require to do. This is simply because your CNAME record contains an imprinted code with your Adsense publisher ID completely built-in within it.

You do require to check that the CNAME record turns into activated and that Google verifies your domains. On the encounter of it, if you stick to the steps, there should be no issues but, as we know, existence is almost never like that! Troubles can originate from the place where your domain identify was registered. If this is the scenario the best, even though probably not the quickest, way to get this alleviated is to prepare to have a template produced at the place your domain identify was registered. This will include your A documents which can then be integrated into your CNAME report and every thing must be hunky-dory!

Summary

We all know that if you come up with a superb domain identify you ought to sign-up it fairly swiftly, even if you have no instant use for it. Google domain parking will supply you with a neat site printed to the World wide web that could properly provide you in some earnings while, powering the scenes, you are ploughing away writing the best site for this printed domain. Carrying out it this way works for everyone involved simply because you dont fall foul of any TOS of Googles and therefore preserve your integrity with the lookup engines for when you arrive to create your true web site, and you will almost certainly carry in a little income for the duration of the time it normally requires for your real internet site to be up and working it might only just cover the registration fee charged for Google domain parking but, something is often much better than nothing at all!
Question by xserpx: Does Google Analytics work with two domain names?
Hi,

I’ve just put up a site and used Google Analytics and it is functioning just wonderful. Even so, I want to buy a new domain identify that goes to the very same website, and monitor how several people pay a visit to that domain identify, and examine it to the very first domain identify. Does Google Analytics track just the site, or does it monitor who goes to which domain identify?

Sorry if this sounds a little bit puzzling!
Many thanks!

Uhmm…

Here I’ll give you some examples:

If you have www. domainA.com and www. domainB.com, you can add them on just one Analytics account. There are separate codes for each domain.

If you have www. domainA.com and www. blog.domain.com, you can add them both as well since Analytics will give you separate codes.

You can actually add a lot of websites in Analytics, and Google will track each of them since they have different codes.

Here is the steps to add a profile:

You can also check multiple domains

Here is a pic that shows where to Add an Account. Account is where you can add a set of websites. For example a set of websites you have about Google, and another account for a set of websites about Fashion Designing. In this photo, I have 6 accounts. One of the accounts is named All Blogs which is listed first in the photo.

As Gfan has said you can track multiple website profiles, but as I am understanding your question you want to create another domain for the same site and also you wish to make both of them active.
But beware of this strategy this will amount to duplicate content penalty of google, so if you wish to make a new domain for the same website then you should 301 redirect the old domain to the new domain. So that only one domain gets indexed by google.

Yes Google Analytics will let you track multiple domains. I would also caution against using a doorway site into yours. You actually can build 2 unique domains serving a common purpose.

Site 1) Is in a direct response format
Site 2) Is in a educational, unbiased format.

Otherwise I’d stick to one domain…safer that way.

IMO,

Good Luck
