In answer to Carmen Talks: pinging is a pretty simple thing to do manually. Have the page you want to ping open in your web browser. In a separate tab, find pingomatic by searching. Type in the title of your website/blog (keyword optimised of course – isn’t it?) then type the url of the homepage. If you know your RSS feed url add that then hit the ping button and the news of your new update will go out. I’ll put a vid on my own channel if you want to have a look.
